Okay, so after a days unexpected wait for the elections results....

*drumroll*

I won!! 66 votes to 12, makes my overall percentage 83%!!, beats the 64% I got last year!

Say hello to President Jerry (he he)

There's only 15 more minutes of elections to go!!!

The balloting will close after first-break tomorrow!

All my "observations" (my way of saying that I hang around the place and see who's voting... he he ) have shown that I seem to be beating RON!

I'll let you know the final verdict as soon as the votes have been counted....

Of all the bennifits of being a active member of a brilliant, supportive community such as this, there is only on down-side that I can identify...

... and that is when they suddenly change the design of the site and I have to re-learn how to find things and interact with the system...

Don't get me wrong.. I love buzz and I think that the team running it have made some brilliant additions over the years, and quite frankly, I wouldn't want to post anywhere else...

Ho hum... I'm just going to have to readjust again...

Been busy, busy, busy lately SUing...

We've got our anual S.H.A.G (sexual health awareness and guidance) week coming up from the 14th to 16th of february (not a whole week, I know). Going to be a fun few days, on the tuesday we're running a valentines party, on the wednesday we're having a S.H.A.G fair with companines and charaties coming (going to have stands about health issues as well as places like Anne Summers coming to hock their wares) then on thursday, the SU hut is becoming the 'Love Shack' and we'll be having games going all day (twister, etc...)

I've been having lots of fun designing groovy posters... yay!!

Have my first geology module exam today, just hope I've revised enough... I'm getting through practice papers in an average of 20mins and the exam is an hour, so hopefully I'll have plenty of time to go back and work over stuff...

I went in yesterday to get by ALG (Adult Learning Grant) form stamped, and they informed me that I had about 5 weeks of back pay due (which works out to about £150!!)...

This means I'll finally be able to send my S70 of to be repaired. Goodbye broken screen... Goodbye broken slider... Hello sniney new repaired camera...

Just got to wait for the form to be processed by the office in Manchester, and then my payment should be cleared.. Hopefully have my camera repaired by new years... yay!!

After our second lunch date, it's been accepted that Tash and I are officially 'going out' (translation to american: 'dating')

Tee Hee, makes me feel like I'm back in high-school!

Have a lunch date with Tash in 15 mins...

Twas darrren's birthday party at the cavern last night, the evening started off bad, with my first train being cancelled and the seccond one being delayed by 20 mins...

The evening was really good!! Good music and good friends...

I'll post pics monday, cause a couple of us stayed at Emma's last night (I ended up with the couch, typical!!), so I've not but a cable for my camera...

Today I'm very happy, and slightly besotted. Won't say any more though, wouldn't want to jinx it...

Just got back from Jessops...

They've told me that it'll cost  £138 to repair my beloved S70...

Cons: Don't have that kind of money, and may have to hock my iPod to afford repair

Pros: It's a universal, non-specific repair, so it will also fix the dents in my case and the problem with the sliding shutter...

Just have to see how it works out... at this rate the camera will end up costing me £800 instead of the £400 credit I got 8 months ago...

grrr!!!

The screen on my S70 has cracked!

I don't know how or why, since it was only in the pocket of my suit jacket as I was wearing it, and I can't see how the screen could have been damaged through the reinforced plastic....

Ho hum, I'm going to have to go into jessops and ask about repairs. In the meantime I'll just have to take lomo shots or imagine I'm using an old-school 35mm...

I had to go into hospital today to have some blood samples taken!

They took FOUR WHOLE VIALS of my valuble blood for testing....

Luckily, I didn't faint, and did manage to take some pictures (to distract myself). I've got a big pad of bandage on now and tomorrow I'll probably have a MASSIVE bruise... but hey, what's done is done...

I've just spent two days (8:30 till 5:30!) giving out NUS cards to students as part of my exec. duties with the union!
 
It's been tedious, tiring (I'm still aching) but a hell of a lot of fun overall!
 
Now I've got two more days to look forward to (yeah.... right)

Got a nice free week, this week. No work. Nice!

Am going to see Chalie and the Chocolate Factory tonight with mum.

I've been doing far too much overtime lately, so that I can go on a spending spree when I get paid (which is two days after my birthday, so kinda a birthday pressie to myself)...

Ho Hum, I'm sure the effort will be worth it in the end...

It is now less than twenty days until my 19th birthday, my last as a 'teen' :)

To celebrate the occasion, I'll be having a beach-party!!
